Selection of shredders:

Which shredder should I choose?
If you are processing cabbages less than 500 kg/h, then we would suggest S 40 or S 30. While if you have capacity up till 2000 kg/h, then S 50 is the right one, while if you have higher capacity than 2000-5000 kg/h, then S 65 will be the one for you.

What is the difference between S 40 and S 30?
S 40 is the multifunctional equipment which can be used for the various vegetable processing as well, which includes Julienne salads kimchi, Korean salads, etc. S 30 has the same capacity as S 40 and has higher safety level as well as is design to work on table, while it has less possibilities to process other vegetables and also the disc size is only 30 cm. S 40 has 40 cm which allows to cut most of the cabbages only in half.

What is the difference between S 40 and S 50 / S 65?
S 50 and S 65 (industrial cabbage shredders) can process more of the cabbages, while it has limited possibilities to process other vegetables. S 40 is multifunctional vegetable processor that has possibility to process different kinds of vegetables.

Do you have machines with lower capacity?
Our minimum processing capacity is 500 kg/h, while the easiness of usage and its price is still competitive, thus if you think how much time you will save on otherwise manual work, you will appreciate much higher speed per hour. With our machines you will be able to focus on other tasks instead of pure shredding!

What material is made the shredder from?
For S 40 everything that comes in contact with food is made from stainless steel, while the frame is made from steel. For additional costs it is possible to order everything to be made from stainless steel.

All is made from stainless steel?
For S 40 everything that comes in contact with food is made from stainless steel, while the frame is made from steel. For additional costs it is possible to order everything to be made from stainless steel. S 30 is made from stainless steel.

Is it possible to make something in between?
Yes, if you need something in between, combined with various elements, then we can also make something for your needs. Contact us via email for further references.

Does the equipment has some certification?

Selection of discs

Are discs made from stainless steel?
For S 30 an S 40 all discs are available from stainless steel, while if you want to reduce the short term costs it is possible to purchase majority of discs made from iron or aluminium.
Aluminium and iron base discs and stainless steel discs have different mounting so they cannot be used both on same machine. Stainless steel discs are easy to attach and change - only one screw.

What are the options for cutting the size of cabbages?
It is possible to have any size from 1 cm – 2 cm (also more if you are interested). Standard in Europe is 1.3 cm, while in Russia it is 1.7 cm, Australia prefers 2 cm, while we can make also something in between. 1 cm is quite thin, and depending on cabbages can make a mash, but it is possible to order it as well.

Can I make Julienne salads?
Yes, it is easy to Julienne salads with S 30 or with S 40 since we have a disc with 2x2 cm slices for making it. To make nicely looking Julienne salads, then it is necessary to push carrots through the disc. Since S 30 already have a pusher built into that, then only a disc for Julienne salads is needed. While for S 40 it is necessary to have hopper with pusher and disc for that.

Is it possible to make Korean salads?
Yes, the best will be to use S 40 for that. To make Korean salads, a discjuliene disc and hopper with pusher should be added.

How can I get the slicing option for shredder?
To use the slicing option, should add slicing disc for which we have 2 options: 1) disc with 5 blades that has fixed height and it is predetermined and can be from 1-12 cm; 2) disc with 2 blades with adjustable height which you can adjust during the production process.
While if the vegetable (like cucumber, lettuce) should be placed vertically to make similar slices, then hopper with tubes should be included.

How to grate vegetables?
There are grating discs with 3mm, 4mm and 6mm sizes available. The average 4 mm grating disc can be purchased and several vegetables can be processed via it.

Is it possible to cut in cubes?
No, unfortunately we cannot provide this option at the moment. It is possible to grate, to mash and to slice.

Can I purchase the additional discs later on?
Yes, while the minimum quantity should be ordered at the start to reduce the costs of shipping, then it is possible to add the necessary discs at any time afterwards. It will be price of disc + transportation costs (usually around 50-100 EUR).

Is it really that simple to use the equipment, as shown in videos?
Yes, the equipment is simple and it has high productivity. Have to replace the discs, wash them and you can use them again.

What motors are added to the equipment?
We have 220 V/50-60 Hz motor with European plug. The motor works in Europe, Australia, and due to the fact that it is also with 60 Hz, then it is also working in USA. While for USA there is need for the adaptor to converter (costs – 150 USD).

Will it work in USA/Canada?
For USA there is need for adaptor to convert from European plug to USA, the cost of it is around 150 USD.
