What is the weight of the equipment?

How much space the equipment will take up?

What motors are added to equipment?
We have 2 various types of motors: 1) For Europe we have motor with power of 220-240 V / 50 Hz. The plugs are central European ones, while it is possible to add also transformer so that it fits to your country electrical cables stright away. 2) For USA we have motor with power of 110 V /400V that would fit.

Will it work in USA? And in Canada?
We have special motors that are created for US needs for usage of 120 V / 60 Hz electricity consumption. For Canada we suggest European motor.

Does equipment has some certification?
At the moment there is no certification for the equipment, as there has not been significant amount of request for us to invest in that. If something changes, we are ready to go through certification as well.

Practical

Can I use it also for other purposes than cabbage shredding?
Yes and we would encourage to do that. Purchase stainless steel plates in addition and cut other vegetables, like XXX plate and cut carrots, make kraut, german kraut.

Can I cut something else besides cabbage?
Purchase additional stainless steel plates and use the equipment also for cutting other vegetables.

Maintenance

What is the period of warranty?
The warranty period is 12 month; however, we have not received any claims during this period of time. This is due to the fact that equipment has simple pieces and all of them are from stainless steel thus there is limited possibilities for something to break down.
Delivery

Is it possible to get faster than in 4-5 weeks?
It is possible to get it faster, while the costs increase by 30%, thus you should consider the benefit added. For individual cases, please contact us or leave your information at the website.

How can I know when my delivery will come?
We will inform you about the status of delivery – when it will leave our premises and when equipment is expected to be at your side.

Selection of shredders

Which shredder should I choose?
If you are processing cabbages less than 500 kg/h, then we would suggest S 40 or S 30. While if you have capacity up till 2000 kg/h, then S 50 is the right one, while if you have higher capacity than 2000-5000 kg/h, then S 65 will be the one for you.

What is the difference between S 40 and S 30?
S 40 is the multifunctional equipment which can be used for the various vegetable processing as well, which includes Julienne salads kimchi, Korean salads, etc. S 30 has the same capacity as S 40 and has higher safety level as well as is design to work on table, while it has less possibilities to process other vegetables and also the disc size is only 30 cm. S 40 has 40 cm which allows to cut most of the cabbages only in half.

What is the difference between S 40 and S 50 / S 65?
S 50 and S 65 (industrial cabbage shredders) can process more of the cabbages, while it has limited possibilities to process other vegetables. S 40 is multifunctional vegetable processor that has possibility to process different kinds of vegetables.

Do you have machines with lower capacity?
Our minimum processing capacity is 500 kg/h, while the easiness of usage and its price is still competitive, thus if you think how much time you will save on otherwise manual work, you will appreciate much higher speed per hour. With our machines you will be able to focus on other tasks instead of pure shredding!

What material is made the shredder from?
For S 40 everything that comes in contact with food is made from stainless steel, while the frame is made from steel. For additional costs it is possible to order everything to be made from stainless steel.

Is it possible to make something in between?
Yes, if you need something in between, combined with various elements, then we can also make something for your needs. Contact us via email for further references.

Does the equipment has some certification?

Selection of discs

Are discs made from stainless steel?
For S 30 an S 40 all discs are available from stainless steel, while if you want to reduce the short term costs it is possible to purchase majority of discs made from iron or aluminium.
Aluminium and iron base discs and stainless steel discs have different mounting so they cannot be used both on same machine. Stainless steel discs are easy to attach and change - only one screw.

What are the options for cutting the size of cabbages?
It is possible to have any size from 1 cm – 2 cm (also more if you are interested). Standard in Europe is 1.3 cm, while in Russia it is 1.7 cm, Australia prefers 2 cm, while we can make also something in between. 1 cm is quite thin, and depending on cabbages can make a mash, but it is possible to order it as well.

Can I make Julienne salads?
Yes, it is easy to Julienne salads with S 30 or with S 40 since we have a disc with 2x2 cm slices for making it. To make nicely looking Julienne salads, then it is necessary to push carrots through the disc. Since S 30 already have a pusher built into that, then only a disc for Julienne salads is needed. While for S 40 it is necessary to have hopper with pusher and disc for that.

Is it possible to make Korean salads?
Yes, the best will be to use S 40 for that. To make Korean salads, a discjuliene disc and hopper with pusher should be added.

How can I get the slicing option for shredder?
To use the slicing option, should add slicing disc for which we have 2 options: 1) disc with 5 blades that has fixed height and it is predetermined and can be from 1-12 cm; 2) disc with 2 blades with adjustable height which you can adjust during the production process.
While if the vegetable (like cucumber, lettuce) should be placed vertically to make similar slices, then hopper with tubes should be included.

How to grate vegetables?
There are grating discs with 3mm, 4mm and 6mm sizes available. The average 4 mm grating disc can be purchased and several vegetables can be processed via it.

Is it possible to cut in cubes?
No, unfortunately we cannot provide this option at the moment. It is possible to grate, to mash and to slice.

Can I purchase the additional discs later on?
Yes, while the minimum quantity should be ordered at the start to reduce the costs of shipping, then it is possible to add the necessary discs at any time afterwards. It will be price of disc + transportation costs (usually around 50-100 EUR).

Is it really that simple to use the equipment, as shown in videos?
Yes, the equipment is simple and it has high productivity. Have to replace the discs, wash them and you can use them again.

Electrical

What motors are added to the equipment?
We have 220 V/50-60 Hz motor with European plug. The motor works in Europe, Australia, and due to the fact that it is also with 60 Hz, then it is also working in USA. While for USA there is need for the adaptor to converter (costs – 150 USD).

Will it work in USA/Canada?
For USA there is need for adaptor to convert from European plug to USA, the cost of it is around 150 USD.

Will it work in Australia, New Zealand?
Yes, it has the same electricity type as in Europe and it will work perfectly well also there.

Does it have 1 phase or 3 phase motor?
Our standard motor has 3 phase motor, while we have also motor for 1 phase. Please specify if you would prefer 1 Phase motor. If you have different type of electricity connection, please let us know, as we will inform you about our possibilities to provide the equipment.

Local distributors

Do you have local distributors?
We do not have official distributors outside of Europe and CIS countries. We are selling it directly to the clients that have found us via our website as well as to distributors that have contacted us we provide better price for reselling purposes. You are welcome to contact us if you are reseller as well as if you are producer, as there can be business for both of us.

Price

What is the price of the equipment?
It all depends what you are looking for, as it is possible to create vegetable processing machine targeted for your needs.

What is the standard price for S 40?
Price for S 40 with 1 cabbage shredding disc at EXW is in range of 2000 – 3000 EUR. Please contact us to get the specific price for your equipment.
If sold outside of European Union, then there is no VAT (Value Added Tax) included, while if sold within European Union, then additional 21 % should be added on top it.
On top of equipment price there are also transportation costs.

What is the price for S 50 and S 65?
The price for only S 50 is 1.5-2.5 times of S 40 and the price for S 65 is 2-3 times higher of S 40. While usually they are bought along with transporter and salting vat and destalker, thus the price is slightly higher. Please contact us to get the specific price for your equipment.

What is the price for S 30?
It is similar to the price of S 40.

What is the price for other equipment?
Please contact us to get the specific price for your equipment.

Payment

Should it be paid in advance?
We take 100 % prepayment that can be paid in 2 parts – 50 % before the start of the production and other 50 % for goods to be dispatched and delivered. It is possible to send the picture taken by transport company and get in direct contact with transport company, to confirm that the order is ready for travel and that it should be delivered to you.

How it should be paid?
You should pay via bank transfer after receive of our invoice.

How long is the production time?
Our production time for the equipment is usually 2-4 weeks.

What are the options for delivery?
It is possible to get the goods either via air (CIF) or via sea (FOB). Via air is better for S 30 and S 40 as the costs of it is around 300 – 400 EUR for S 30 and 600 – 900 EUR for S 40, depending on the country and also the airport. Usually delivery is within 1-2 weeks after sending out from Europe.
Via sea for S 40 is around 250 -400 EUR, while the delivery time can be around 4-8 weeks. Since mixer is heavy, then costs via air is around 3000 EUR, while via sea is around 800-1500 EUR. Delivery time is around 4-8 weeks.
Specific pricing for delivery is set based on your location and possibilities to reach you. It is possible to pickup by you're transport company.

What is the total time to receive the equipment?
If ordered via air, then average time would be 4-8 weeks from the first prepayment. If sent via sea, then it might go up to 8-15 weeks. Thus plan your purchase in advance of the peak season.

Are there additional costs after equipment is delivered to airport/port?
There might be local/custom taxes that are to be paid by you to the government. Also you should process the custom documents, and since the equipment will be delivered to the closest airport (CIF) or port (FOB) and sent to custom warehouse, then there might be costs for storing it there.

How can I know when my delivery will come?
We will inform you about the status of delivery – when it will leave our premises and when equipment is expected to be at your side.

What is the guarantee period?

What other expenses are expected after the purchase of equipment?
Rarely happens that some stones that get into the equipment along with vegetables, and then the blades should be changed, while their costs are minimal (45 EUR).

How often should the knifes/blades be sharpened?
For S 65 – after 500 tons, for S 50 – after 200 tons, for S 40 – after 60 tons. This is around 100 full productivity working hours of the equipment and is on average higher than for other similar equipment.

What happens if something does not work with the equipment?
We are interested to help you with the equipment. Thus the first action would be to take a video or photo and send to us, so that we can understand what the issue is. Then we will find the solution that could work for both sides.
